I got fired from my job and did what any reasonable person would do, bought a Dolby Atmos surround sound system. Then I needed to know which of my Spotify tracks actually had Atmos, so I hacked together a quick playlist checker. That should have been the end of it. It was not the end of it. One thing led to another and now I'm somehow running a platform with 100,000+ albums, a three-dimension rating system for spatial audio nerds, community rankings, Apple Music playlist tools, and a whole Reddit community arguing about whether that one Beatles remix actually sounds good in Atmos. I built the entire thing solo from my apartment. Hello Atmos is either a brilliant pivot from unemployment or the world's most elaborate way to avoid updating my LinkedIn. Time will tell.
